I'm comparing the lvl50 sets for the grand companies. Are grand company items the best items at lvl50? If yes, we would want an optimal set for our mains, right? If not, then do you guys know of specific perks of each company? Thoughts

I'm comparing the lvl50 sets for the grand companies. Are grand company items the best items at lvl50? If yes, we would want an optimal set for our mains, right? If not, then do you guys know of specific perks of each company? Thoughts
I haven't even bothered to look (maybe I'll do that now!) because I thought that we would sort of all have to join the same GC... maybe I'm wrong about this.
One thing I DO know is that there will be multiple ways to get endgame gear, and the GC gear will be one of the ways. So even if the GC gear isn't optimal for you, there will be other options.
There's a detailed GC thread around here somewhere. I think Gib wrote the post, but not sure.
