Should I re-roll for EA/launch?

Hey all!

I only played phase 4. 

I started off with a pug and I got it to 17. Then I discovered that what I really wanted to level first was a conjurer. Then I read about the tanks and wanted to be a tank. So in the end, I ended up with pug at 17 and prettymuch every other class at 4 or 5 (I did some traveling). My character did get to go to lvl50 areas because of a "Lala march" throughout the world...but I don't think that's a crazy plus anyway.

I did not gather or craft a single thing. 

I just feel like I've lost my rhythm in making my character. I have quests of all levels everywhere and it feels like a mess.  I think I'd prefer to re-roll (if it's even possible to make a new char onto Excal) and start off primarily as a tank or conj. 

What do you all suggest?

The reason I want to reroll is because I want a different race for my toon.  We will see if it is even going to be possible to roll a toon on Excalibur at Early Access though.

Race is the only reason to reroll a toon in FFXIV.  (Race is also the only reason to make an alt.)

I ran into a fellow Lala of pretty much the same name. I am planning on a reroll.

I might make one of each Lala and Miquote in case I can't handle the Lala ubercuteness some days.

Well, it says appearance, it doesn't say anything about Race in the item tooltip or that post.  I'll concede my win only if it turns out that Fantasia allows us to change our races, too.  ;P
