Ok, so I start watching and all those players are fighting that big bull, and I'm thinking... "wow, I'm a bit disappointed in the mechanics of this raid boss, it'd almost put me to sleep". :(
Then they show a segment of a black figure on a fell looking horse... and I was like, "oh kayyyyyy....?"
Then, it became "HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER!!11!!" until the end of the video.
I'm finding myself to actually be getting excited about dungeons and raids in FFXIV, which would be a first for me since Everquest.
Black Mages and their giant ball of fire, hehe.
I thought the encounters looked a little simple, too, but hey... it's only a few seconds of each fight and maybe they didn't want to spoil all of the boss mechanics before launch.
