Question:
I pre-ordered the Imperial edition from a 3rd party online retailer. They gave me a code a month ago. When I logged into https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/users/account, it only said "beta access".
Today, I noticed it now says both "Beta Access" and "Early Access". Does this mean I'm cleared to play for the 30th?
How can you tell which version of the game you purchased (from your elderscrollsonline account page? ) I just see a brown box cover with the Elder Scrolls circle.

If you login to your account and then go to billing history maybe it will show what version of the game you bought there. My does but I also bought it directly from Zenimax.
I would assume though that if you can download the client, update it, and it says Early Access that you will be able to play in a few days.
Everytime I click on it, it redirects me to the page where I have to put in my DOB. Then it brings me right back to the ESO home page. It even does this when I click on the article from the ESO page news section. :(
It is nerve wracking. i think order directly, and cancel my order with the 3rd party.
No need to cancel, plus most places wont be able to of digital goods for pre-order.
Which ever version you bought, is what you got.
If you look at your billing history in your account, it will tell you what early start you have.
Some site get multiple keys. The first key is to unlock headstart, you get 2nd key to unlock game when it is closer to launch.
it seems like a catch22. the 3rd party retailet wont charge my credit card until April 4. However they have not sent us any codes. it seems we wont get the needed early access code until April 4. by then it will be useless.
when you ordered from zenimax, how soon until you got the early access code?
When I ordered the digital imperial edition directly, it updated my account immediately after all the payment info was accepted.
Yeah mine updated immediately also on my account page, I also got it from Zenimax
I have a collectors edition coming from amazon and I also bought a digital version from Zenimax. The one showing on my account is the one I bought from Zenimax.
Ok, after a few emails and a phone call, my ESO account now reflects 5 day early access on the billing page. (Whew).
Next time I'm just ordering the game directly.
