Don't bother wasting your time with this quest. The last part of it is bugged where you have to put down the timber and kill Ash.

Don't bother wasting your time with this quest. The last part of it is bugged where you have to put down the timber and kill Ash.
I encountered a few bugged quests this week-end - aside from "Underminded" I also was stuck in the Daggerfall covenant areain a cemetery by a NPC not spawning - it stopped my story at ~ level 5.
