So, I am coming back from a 2 yearish break, I am trying to get back into the game, my old Templar was built heavily towards Stamina, and I use a 2hander sword with Medium Armor, Im also a Nord. I would like to do the story and will most likely like to run group events alot like Raids and such. Probably will alter my build if needed to do some PVP, but that would probably be more secondary to me.

Im trying to figure out how to Spec my build now, all of my points and such got reset and Im no good at making decent builds, I've tried looking up guides but I don't know how much I should trust them, and most don't seem to be up to date anyway. I looked here for guides too, but I know how much classes can change with time, and most of the builds on here are 2017 or earlier.

Anyone willing to work with me I'd greatly appreciate it :)

Welcome back!

I took a similar break, returning back in November and had a hard time finding updated resources of my own, especially since Deltia has stopped focusing so single-mindedly on gaming.

I have found alcasthq.com to be a reliable resource when I get stuck or want to try to implement something new but don't know where to start. Of course, most of the suggestions and builds on the website are for a very narrow focus, but are very easily tweakable and I have found the 'maths' behind their research to be reliable and are kept up to date. They also offer gear suggestions based on your level of game play (crafter or dungeon destroyer ^.^).

If you need anything made to help you get rolling, toss me a message and I'll help you get geared up :)

Dottz Gaming and Deltia also are good references, especial while leveling up Champion Points.  Deltia's builds are mostly done by GilliumtheRogue, since he's spending less time in ESO, but are relatively current.  Keep in mind some of this info will probably change in June with the DLC release.

Thank you both for the response, since I posted I have dug a bit deeper looking at builds, I found some good stuff, but immediately realized....I have no idea what any of this gear is or where it is found or crafted :P Clearly I will need to get in some group runs, and start leveling....quick.....

I haven't been to alcasthq.com, will take a look in a bit, I'd have done my own build, but as I said before, I have no skill at making builds, and as for figuring out if any of the builds I find are any good, I cant do the math, so I cant really say.....seriously, I have 0 Math skill, it should be counted as an achivement with how bad I am. I do however know what I'd like to do in terms of play style and what type of content I'd like to tackle, but thats about as good as I got, I can also craft some of my own stuff......but I will have to refresh myself on how crafting works in this game and what I can do on my own :P

I have alot of work to do, but I thank you guys for your help however you can give it :D

The one thing I have liked Alcasthq over Deltia for, since Morrowind, is that they have two sets of gear recommendations. One is obtained through Dungeons, and they tell you which Dungeons to go to. The other is obtained from non party instances (delves, dolmens, and zone drops) as well as craftables and again, directing you to where you need to go to start crafting it.

Verve and I are both someone OCD in the want to do it all field so anything you don't yet have the skills to craft, we can help hook you up :)

Did the same thing here. Gone for a long time then started playing again progressively more over the last year. You are not alone ;)

Also I play a Templar main, but I am a magicka based healer build, so I can not offer too much insight into stamina playstyle. What I can offer is help with obtaining gear via crafting or other means. Been running a few normal dungeons just to get the hang of things and work on gearing up, if you need a healer, look me up.  Also been farming in some public dungeons the last few nights just to level up a skill on my other main, a sorcerer. If you need  drops from any of those I am on in the evenings and would love the company.
