So, I've been a tad non-participatory as of late. And partly because I PvP 99% of the time. So I thought, "Why don't I use my experience as a way to help other guildies and have a blast at the same time?"

Rainingblood's Cyrodiil Slayers will be a (mostly) weekly event for beginners and experts-alike to sharpen our swords, practice together as a guild, and get the Gaiscioch name to dominate Cyrodiil once more!

In a nutshell, you'll:

  • learn and practice effective tactics in Cyrodiil; from small to large group effectiveness and team play.
  • learn how to take resources quickly, own towns, take keeps (even with a small group)
  • Learn tactics and skills for fighting certain classes or groups, how to effectively defend objectives, and even how to create distractions to open opportunities for other groups to take objectives.
  • No need for min/maxing, or specific abilities, though I will help you make the best choice.

No experience? No problem! This is for you. It will also be fun and educational for more experienced PvPers.

I have a lot of open-world PvP experience, from large top tier PvP guilds to small-scale tactical groups; from strict to casual, I've done them all. Now I'd like to pass on my experience to those who want to learn.

The goal is to help people have fun in Cyrodiil, and create a fun, educational experience for guildmates!

If anyone has any questions, or suggestions, feel free to hit me up here, or in-game: @rainingblood

Thanks!

I never PVP because I know nothing about it and do not want to embarrass myself or go through getting kicked because of no idea of what to do. I would like to learn. Even to get a taste of it to see if it for me or not. If you get something set up, I will try it and join you.

Awesome! And that's exactly what this is for. No embarrassment (except for me embarrassing myself, which happens on a regular basis...)  A lot of organized guild groups just throw people into the mix. I want to teach folks everything, even the basic things.

I will advise that everyone at least have completed the intro quest that you get the first time in Cyrodill. It gives you some basics which help a lot.

Also, to Fog or any other moderator. I realized that I posted this in general instead of the events forum, so I apologize and please move if necessary.

We need some more guildies next week! Don't worry about your level, if that's the concern. This is the best place to learn, with fun friends and a learning environment.

Also, I heard this time could be a great option for our folks on the opposite side of the globe!
