So i am choosing between a Templar and a Warden, they will both be Stam Dps so the deciding factor will be the class skills.

What Templar and Warden skills are useful for raiding or Vet dungeons?

and dual weild vs 2H?

I don't have a great deal of stam buiid experience, but here's what i think i know;  dual wield/bow seems to put out more dps, both classes have decent self heals, templar should do better on sustain, neither are top of the boards for stam dps output.

Anyone else can please correct my impressions with their own experience/knowledge.

You know I've been having the same issue in trying to decide which to "main". Both of mine are 50. As much as I love my stamplar (mainly for the spear) I've been having way more sustain issues on this character that I ever had on my warden (stam or mag). With the wardens 12% stam/mag regen passive and the netch I hardly have to heavy attack except on very long fights.  To me the warden has more entertaining and to me useful support skills, such as green lotus (crit and heals on light/heavy attacks), frost cloak (group armor/resist buffs), Netch (stam/mag regen), shimmering shield, and not to mention the major breach and fracture from stam shalks.

Now all of this is incredible and makes for a fun class but to me it always boils down to how fun each classes spammable is as you'll be using it a lot of course. In my opinion this is where the templar's spear is soo much better than spamming the bird. Not only is it very good damage but it has built in increased crit chance and a chance to proc burning light.  As a stamden the bird feels clunky using it and slow, mainly if you're using a 2 hander. If you go dual wield it feels better because you can substitute in flurry. The templar's jab with included crit makes being a stam build nice of a stam warden as it's one less buff you have to keep up. With the Warden it's very annoying have to continuously buff crit and damage. I feel I spend half my time micromanaging instead of slaying.

as far as builds it still the same. DW/Bow for PVE and 2hander/Bow for PVP. 2 hander has got a bit better in the pve department with the splash of the foreful passive but I'm not convinced yet that it's even. I'ts better than it was though. Unfortunately you'll be using a lot of the same abilities for PVE damage as you would on both classes. Those are Endless Hail, Poison Injection, Caltrops, and possibly rearming trap.

I'm curious to which you choose and I feel both are strong classes. As I said earlier, my decision came down to the spammables. I felt the bird suited the mag warden play style as I generally play druids, and even though my templar doesn't have a pet I still play him as my ranger.
