So, I got to play around with ESO over this past weekend, and found out this terrible computer can run it. So, I tried messing with the graphics, and I noticed something. It didn't matter if the texture quality was set to low, medium, or high, because they all looked like the same low-quality junk.
This is my argonian during Eiahn's (hope I spelled it right) event with the map clear of Stonefall: http://i.imgur.com/35bdYXs.png
My settings are as follows
display: fullscreen
resolution: 1280x720 (hate having it at this low res, but otherwise it isn't that great performance, even with everything on low)
vertical sync: off
anti-aliasing: off
texture quality: high
sub-sampling: high
shadow: low
water reflection: low
ambient occlusion: off
bloom: off
depth of field: on
distortion: off
sunlight rays: off
grass: off
I typically get 15-20 fps with these settings, which is about normal for any game I play on PC. What brought this question about is looking at how nice Jairone's screenshots look in his Craglorn thread, and then looking at the screenshot I posted earlier in this post. So, any clue as to why, despite having texture quality set to high, it looks like that? Thanks for any help, and hope this isn't in the wrong spot.
