Enchanting Guide

Enchanters create glyphs that can be applied to weapons, armors, or jewelry. Each glyph has one effect, a level range, and a quality. Each glyph can only be applied to one type of item (weapon, armor, or jewelry) and only to item within the specified level range.
Glyphs are created by combining three runes. Each glyph requires one of each of the three types of rune: Potency, Essence, and Aspect.
Potency: Potency Runes come in two categories. These runes determine the item levels that the Glyph can be applied to, and they determine either the additive or subtractive nature of the Glyph. We'll call the two categories Subtractive and Additive.
Subtractive Category:
Jode (lvl 1-10, Requires Potency Improvement 1) Translation: Reduce
Notade (lvl 5-15, Requires Potency Improvement 1) Translation: Subtract
Ode (lvl 10-20, Requires Potency Improvement 2) Translation: Shrink
Tade (lvl 15-25, Requires Potency Improvement 2) Translation: Decrease
Jayde (lvl 10-20, Requires Potency Improvement 3) Translation: Deduct

Essence: Essence Runes determine the base type of effect the Glyph will have. The exact effect and what item the glyph can be applied to are determined by the combination of Potency and Essence runes.

Aspect: Aspect Runes ONLY affect the magnitude of the effect generated, not the item level or type.
Ta (white, Req. Aspect Imp 1)= Base
Jejota (green, Req. Aspect Imp. 1)= Fine
Denata (blue, Req. Aspect Improvement 2) = Superior
Rekuta (purple, Req. Aspect Improvement 3)= Artifact
Kuta (gold, Req. Aspect Imp 4)= Legendary
