Hey all! I am getting the word out about a fund drive for a soup kitchen in my local community. It's Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and it has been serving the homeless and hungry for over 25 years:

We're having a board and card game night that is being generously hosted by Off The Wall Games, a local game store, on Saturday 2/4/17:

Admission is only $1. While food donations are accepted, the money is preferred - please let me explain.
The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts assists soup kitchens and homeless shelters, and can supply approved facilities at pennies on the dollar. So one dollar lets Lorraines buy TEN POUNDS of groceries.
We'll have classics - Monopoly, Scrabble, etc. as well as newer board games - Ascension, Haunting of Hill House, etc. The event starts at 2 pm and runs until 7 pm. Pizza and wings will be provided.
If you're in the area and have the time to spare, this is a worthy cause! Thanks for your time.
