Foundation by Isaac Asimov. It's a pretty amazing story, the whole trilogy in fact. If you haven't read it, you're missing out on one of the greatest science fiction stories ever written, in my opinion. It's a very thought provoking story, and it keeps you guessing and reading until the very end. You never see the conclusion coming.

Well, my current June reading is "Jackdaws" by Ken Follett. My husband already read it and I'm finding it quite entertaining. I've found some good humor in this book, too, mixed in with everything else. I think the team of woman put together for this WWII mission are probably crazier combo than any table top game grouping of characters. ::chuckles::

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

My vote would be,

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

-  It's a non-fiction story written by one of the survivors of the Mt. Everest climbing disaster back in the 90's.  It's a really well-written and honest account of tragedy and survival under extremely harsh and debilitating conditions... probably my favorite non-fiction book and it's relatively unknown.

Ok...so i had to travel to Asia tuis past week (in Anchorage Alaska now) and I finished this book.

Decent book. I liked how it switched to more of a sci-fi book As I wasnt expecting it.  Not scifi i the traditional sense but only in that many of the concepts are scifi centric.  enjoyed. Thanks.
