Life after 45 in BDO

So I'm sure there are some that won't admit being a tad bit worried about pvp in BDO after level 45. There are plenty of people that I've meet that tend to be concerned about getting ganked over and over again.

Read this article from a ticked off PVP'er. It shows how powerful the in game karma system works to protect people that just want to play the game.

This guy is hilarious. Poor victim being harassed by a PvE player. His logic confounds me.

Yeah, good laugh. Made my husband wonder, too. Blades into anyone in a game does NOT work, thus our motto of blades out, not in. And those blades go into the KNOWN PvP enemies we have. The fun thing is the way this family has played over the years we get our "enemies" who fought tooth and nail against us in one game joining us in other games. 

And I feel sorry for him because if he is 51 already and this whiney, I am positive he missed 95% of the game getting there! Even if he could play ALL day.

Unfortunately, I have a "KOS list" against some of the guilds/people that will be playing with us on Orwen.  Personal issues stemming from conflicts in Archeage. 

I am not one to forgive and forget and have no intentions of allowing those asshats a bye, based on any "new game, new beginnings" excuses.  (Speaking of:  I still have issues with some HoL folks based on their poor behavior against GSCH members in Archeage, but while it's not a KOS issue, it will still be awkward.  I warned folks that it would come back to haunt them, somewhere down the road...)

So, I'm not quite sure how I will handle things here in BDO, but this thread has given me some ideas to troll my KOS list into wasting their karma, instead of mine.  :)

That post thread and the OP are hilarious on so many levels.

I don't even know where I should start if I wanted to share my opinion about it, so I will keep quiet and leave it at that.

The solution to this guy's problem seems simple.  

If someone griefs you in PvP, fight back using PvP.  You just have to be better than them at PvP.  Kill them before they kill you.

If someone griefs you in PvE, fight back using PvE.  You just have to be better than them at PvE.  Kill the mobs before they kill the mobs.

He just wants an excuse to flag on anyone that he wants to, without suffering any consequence.  The PvE stuff may be something that does irritate him, but it's not the core issue of his post.  My guess is that he was hoping to get some other PVPers on his bandwagon, but most of us just read it, laughed and moved on.

I'm glad to hear this! I was worried about being ganked after level 45, so much so that I thought about maybe stopping around 40 and just having fun skilling. Knowing that the karma system discourages griefers like this makes me feel more comfortable going out there and leveling on my own.
