To all my Sunday and Monday Peoples! * Forming guild and early missions*

Ok to all my Sunday\Monday peoples!

I'm going to be getting the guilds startin early sunday and trying to refarm my money for it. We are going to attempt to do several guild gathering missions on Monday after the guild has been formed. The reason for this is to try and stack as much funds as we can before transfering to Fog. Hopefully when fog gets it he can coordinate a few more missions so we can build the funds again before the third switch.

Each of these quests will be various gathering missions requiring at least four people to assist. We will need to gather at least 90 of two items.

The last time we did this it was maple and birch logs. The item "logs" doens't count. It had to be specificly "birch logs, and maple logs". This can be any resource and they will be spread out over olivia and velia maybe even Calpheon so if you can help us gather them it will go much faster.

*Things to remember*
- All items gathered by us during the event will be yours to keep
- All items must be gathered during the event to count
- You must have an active contract so message me if you don't have one
- We will only have 2 hours to perform the gathering
- You will be notified via guild chat, discord, and a in game pop up when we will begin.
- I'm not going to schedule the first one I'm just going to grab us when we have about 9-10 people on.
- Any one can help (so long as they are in the guild and have an active contract) they just need to grab the respective tool and get to it. ( You must be in the guild, friends of guild don't count)

*Tentative start time for guild missions will be around 1-2pm CST so you have plenty of time to get early quests and what not out of the way* 

I hope to make it on Monday. I get home late Sunday so that may be to early for me. I also have to pick up the dogs. Can't wait to play though.

I have informed my wife that I will be driving back to my work home on Saturday night rather than Sunday, so I should be available most of Sunday. (This is ok, because I will be going back to the real home again on Wednesday).

I know little about the game other than playing the final CBT but I am willing to lend a hand to anything that I can be useful for! I will be on most of Sunday.

not to sounds like and ahole..  but aren't you trying to do a lot in 1 day..  why not enjoy the game a bit instead of rushing like mad..  i don't know in my opinion,  this game is very fun and has a lot to it, i would hate ppl to miss out on stuff cause they are rushing like headless chickens... getting the guild going is nice, but isnt needed for ppl to communicate,  why grind everything will come in time.....

Doreth, I am totally with you here. I am going to prioritize the things I want to prioritize. I need some time to get my characters established & start getting my nodes set up. That doesn't mean I won't do guild missions, but racking up a huge amount of credits when we are going to forfeit half of them, and then half of them again, isn't at the top of my list for the headstart period.

I believe the goal is make sure the guild is up and running before official launch so people starting on launch day can do exactly what you said, enjoy the game. 

Doreth, I understand what your talking about but look at it like this. In order to get the guild going I'm going to need to spend my time in the game grinding my money and my items in order to pay for the guild we will all use. You can not help me I have to do that myself. I'm not making anything a requirement no one is say you have to do this.

However once the clan is made and then converted into a guild we will have very few funds in the guild. When people start to play the game and start trying to experiment and look at all the game systems they will find out that you can collect money from the guild. If that money is not in the guild and lets say 3 people withdraw by accident then the guild starts loosing perks and bonus. On top of that with the guild upgrades it costs money so in order to get everyone invited I have to yet again farm more money of my own time or we can all do some quick guild missions to pad the guild with enough funds to upgrade to allow everyone to join.

On the flip side.. if you want to help out on these simple gathering missions all you have to do is spend a few minutes hitting some gathering nodes which you are probably going to be doing anyway while we have a two hour window. This will generate more than we need for guild funds and if we complete 4 fast guild missions (they will be fast with at least 10 people) we will have 1.6 million silver. Even if that's halved twice we will still have enough to completely cover guild contracts without the need to worry about taxation or any issues.

Keep in mind several members are considering this their main go to game. Personally I don't feel like I'm taking it to fast as this is what I'm wanting to do and I know enough of the game I know where I want to be. Everyone is more than welcome to spend their own time doing what they want to do at their own pace. I'll i'm asking is if you can spend some time helping to gather than please do.

I don't know the system enough to really weigh in about what needs to be done by who, when and how quickly, but I do know our family.  The social adventure will happen when it happens, so don't try to force anything or anyone, just have fun and it will sort itself out, well enough.  People will be fine.  Everyone is just a little over-excited right now, which is good, but the game isn't even live, yet.

So no bickering about it and don't sweat the details.  We'll get it sorted.  It's nothing that we haven't had to do before.  :)

Seems that a few people are throwing the words "social adventure" around as a crutch. I know many people that want to play this game as a main game and not as a off kind of thing, so many of us want to get started on the right foot.

You've always had the options of doing the adventures or not. There is nothing new here. If you want to just level then go for it, don't take me planning events as a sign of "requirement" the only requirement is that you have to be in the guild with an active contract to participate.

I wish I could login sunday or monday I would be happy to help our guild do whatever it needs to to start off on the right foot to make this fun for everyone. I suspect many joining dont have a good grasp of all the hoops that have to be jumped through to establish and maintain an actual guild in this game. Its not like any guild system I have seen before in other mmo's. Hubby and I cant join until the first but we will be glad to help with anything that needs doing still at that point. After I left gw2 I haven't really bothered much with gaming as real life has been to hectic and I was feeling a bit burned out on the same old stuff. So for us this will also be our main game..for me prolly my only game so not just  social adventure here.  Good luck and we look forward to adventuring with you all again come the first and thanks to those leaders who are doing all the work to get this guild up and running in BDO! You make these games worth playing.

Hercules (hubby) and myself would be happy to help out. However, don't fill up the ranks with us if it will hinder others that NEED to be invited, (Bri, Fog, etc.) as Bri mentioned in another post.

We are very new to BDO, and if there are others that could be more helpful please fill those slots first.

Trust me I'll have plenty of room for everyone that's why i'm planning and staging ideas. Fog will be making videos on the guild system in order to explain it further however I'm fairly certain that we will need some guild cash before he is done. At this point I'm going to set the contracts to 7 days until I transfer to Fog in order to reduce the demand on the guild funds. When Fog gets it he can review the contracts and extend them if needed. Then Bri can do the same and we can fully start to stock the guild with what we need. 

Remember player trading is disabled so anything that needs to be done has to be done via the guild system. I also thank you all for the support while I get GSCH started for the first couple of days, just bear with us as we completed the transfers that are needed.

The RUSH is only by Esca to make the guild have the room! NO ONE HAS TO WORRY ABOUT THIS PART except Esca, Fog and I as we actually make the guild ready to go by the 3rd. =) And do whatever other behind the scenes cool videos, etc, that are already planned.

That being said, you can have fun with guild gathering missions as posted that will teach you how to gather fun stuff and help the guild make money. That is the ONLY thing you should worry about - whether or not you can be around to have fun chatting and chopping on trees or beating on rocks or whatever it wants gathered to make easy money for the guild. LOL!

Otherwise, just play the game. If you have a contract when it goes to guild status everything you do in the game adds a little to the guild regardless if you manage to help with guild gathering fun.

So play how you want when you want knowing you do have the option to jump in on the events he has posted.

Esca's last two posts are super-good. I think it is what a lot of us need to hear, to not feel like we're rushing too much at launch. Some of our lives are complicated, & while I am very excited about this game, I don't want anyone feeling anxiety about the game right out the gate.

Thanks :P sometimes it's easy to read into something to much or to little. I'm a very plan and details oriented kind of guy. My wife tells me i'm "anal" but meh I just like having a plan.. if I go in with a plan I can augment it at will I just at least like having some kind of a goal or SMART goal that is measurable and achievable.

HA, that makes too anal organizers in charge of this merry making. ;)

My wife and I would like to offer our assistance on Sunday. She will be available on Monday as well, but I will have to return to the joys of a cubicle. We will be stumbling around for the first couple of hours after character creation because we skipped the CBTs. But we will be ready by the time the call comes out for some day laborers to get the Guild going. One question, will the Guild be on the Edan server for the live game or is it like ESO with a Megaserver? Thanks again for your time and I look forward to any responses.

I will be there on Sunday as will my wife. We'll be on all day, so more than happy to help with anything.

Looks like we are going to have quite the fun crew for this game. I'll be hanging out in Discord on and off Sunday and Monday to see how it is all going and see you in the game on Tuesday.

Otherwise, I'm going to stay out of the guild stuff, to avoid the "too many cooks" and all.  Plus, I have no idea what I'm doing anyway, as I didn't spend hardly any time with the Betas, so I've gotta learn it all, as I go.  Got a lot to learn and I'm a bit overwhelmed, since I learn best by doing, not reading.

But if something is needed, ask with specifics and I'll help with whatever I'm able to.

I don't think we will have to many cooks. You can help us out at around 1pm sunday and monday if you want to do some guild missions. Other than that it's all on me to get it started. Keep in mind no one has to push with me but if you wanted to join me i'm perfectly fine with company. I'll be on at server start tonight.

If you want to grind away with me for a bit and make some cash and some levels your more than welcome to some spend some time with my wife and I as we get started. 

I plan on being around and on as much as I can starting Sunday and would love to help gather, though I'm not quite sure how it all works.  I'm assuming I need an axe so I'll try to purchase one as soon as possible.  Looking forward to helping out!
