Aingeal's WvW Conquest 7/1/2013

This was definitely my toughest night so far commanding. In the past, I've been pushed off of places, but never had the trouble that I had tonight in trying to capture anything. However, finally, when it most mattered at the end of the night, we were able to pull off some awesome maneuvers. It started with a golem rush into the lord room of BG's fully upgraded Bay so spook them. JQ flipped it after 20 minutes of turmoil, but that wasn't the end of the matter. We got three mesmers hidden from JQ inside the now paper Bay that were never found. A portal from one of them and we were quickly into the inner again. Being driven out for a second time, we retreated to go get some supply. Five minutes later, with two of our own GSCH mesmers under fire, we took a last ditch effort portal back into Bay. Dropping around six rams on the north outer and casting every AoE possible, we dropped gates to the inner and stormed the Lord's room. After getting the control pad up, we had a few JQ try and circle jump. Only problem was that their jumpers couldn't stay in the circle long enough, and we flipped the keep JUST as BG pushed back into Bay in an attempt to take back their home keep. After having claimed the keep we spent two hours working for, we were at an emotional high and made quick work of the BG invaders, wiping their forces inside the keep and claiming it for our own.

I also want to make a special shoutout to Jess, who really kept my spirits up when things got bad. Can't wait to see you all next time.
