revRaidLoot: An addon for tracking DKP

I have created an addon that tracks the DKP for multiple raids at the same time.  I have created a posts on forums.riftgame.com, riftui.com, and curse.com for this addon.  I keep the Official forums and RiftUI up-to-date the most, so I suggest going to one of those places first.  If you are a raid leader, and are sick of using Excel sheets to track your raid(s) DKP, then try this out!  I have added the ability to import Excel worksheets into the addon via Copy/Paste.  There is a tutorial on RiftUI for this if you are not familiar with plain text CSV file format.  Either way, I suggest you check it out, if not for actual use then just for a family member. :P

As long as something never keeps the people who NEED gear so they can improve their character's dps, from getting said gear, I'm all for it. But if this is a system where only the highest dps gets to roll, when they're likely the ones already geared up, then nuh-uh. *shudders* It all seems to be turning to WoWish addons :(

DKP can be a force for great manipulation of loot, or great fairness about loot, people can unbalance any system. On the other hand, I don't think we generally use it, though perhaps some of the set groups that raid do...I have not checked. Now I would classify our standard "family rules" from another post as need before greed, with definitions of what both are in context, with limited rolling. Here for the current standard as far as I know. Rifts based though, might not be able to be applied in GW2, though I suspect the spirit will remain the same =D http://guildwars.gaiscioch.com/tavern/17693/

Ever since I experienced the weighted roll system (like Bentmer uses), I'll never go back to DKP. It's easy to understand, easy to manage, and (IMO) makes raiding more fun and less like work.

You show you roll! Fitting since you are the one paying for the game!!! Thank you GW2. See below for my rant: I avoid point system groups like the plague. I was playing Rift when the roll modifier came into effect. I did not agree with the idea then, and I still do not. I have unlucky digital dice, but I am not willing to steal somebody's winning roll. They worked just as hard as me for that winning roll. Even though I have seen A boss 100's of times more. Rationalize it anyway you like, but at the end of the day you are still stealing. I AM HERE FOR THE GROUP NOT THE LOOT!!

I like loot systems that fit the declared goals of the group. Sometimes, some games, that is a system that takes a bit more work like DKP or The List. Other times, other goals, some variation of rolling works best for the group. Thank you Ingshtrom for posting your addon, and for the work that went into it.

EVERYONE! This is not a system, it is just for those who choose to use the mod/dkp/whatever. Just created the addon to help them out. If you don't like DKP, don't use it :P
