The Gaiscioch are community focused both in game and out. They have maintained a constant involvement with charities and hold regular special events. The Gaiscioch strongly believe that relationships and memories are the most prized possession we will ever receive and look to make those same memories and relationships out of the game world and into the real world.
In 2011, the Gaisicoch grew to such a size that it no longer was just a guild in a game. They grew over 1,500 members in just 12 months and began to see the potential for our social gaming community to help the outside world in our own way. Since 2011, they have been involved in annual charity events, corporate appreciation days, and also hold an annual pub night at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington for members to meet and greet in the real world.
Being their membership is largely made up of mature adults between the age of 35 - 55 they found that they have more than enough desire to help others when they can and have an amazing ability to inspire those around us to help out as well. In their very first event the Gaiscioch placed 11th world wide in the Extra Life Charity Event as a Top 15 Contributor. They raised more money than Activision, Treyarch, Paragon Studios, and Wizards of the Coast for the Children's Miracle Network bringing in a total of $8,875.01.

Within the first 7 days of the month long event, the Gaiscioch had shipped over 300 stuffed animals outgrowing the demand of all 4 of the initial charities making it necessary to bring on a 5th charity to handle the overflow. In the end the Gaiscioch managed to fill all 5 charity organizations storage capabilities totalling over 400 stuffed animals.

The Annual CookieZerg
Just on the other side of the new year, the Gaiscioch bring out their baking sheets and arm themselves with baked goods for an all out assault on the companies that have provided them a home over the years. In their first event they shipped over 10,000 cookies, pastries, and other desserts to the two gaming companies that ensured the future success of the community, ArenaNet and Trion Worlds.
As an annual tradition the Gaiscioch take this moment each year to thank those developers who pour their heart and soul into the games we play and say thanks for all their hard work and achievements. It's one of the small ways that we can say thanks and give these men and women the thanks they deserve.
Summer Pub Night:
Annual Celebration at PAX Prime
Each year at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington, Gaiscioch members from near and far get together to celebrate the past year and see what is to come over the next year. Their first Pub Night was hosted in 2011 to celebrate 10 years of social gaming. In the past the Gaiscioch have been joined by several members of the press, game developers, and long time members for this kickoff to the PAX festivities.
Annual Celebration Nationwide for the Holiday Season
Gaiscioch from far and wide gather in their local areas for the seasonal Holiday Parties hosted by Gaiscioch family members across the country. These festivities serve as a great way for members to take their in game connections out of game and make new friends in the real world while giving us a time to share with one another. We began this tradition in 2012 celebrating in 4 states across the USA. Next year we hope to increase the number of states we can arrange events in.
