While I haven't completely lost intrest in rift, I have found my self wandering away, visiting old haunts and awaiting Guild Wars.
On these travles however I find myself increasingly bothered by how little my former homes have changed and I wonder if I havn't been spoiled abit by Rifts pace of development.
Anyone else out there ruined forever? :p

Rift is a spoiler - very true. The level of commitment to customer service and a quality product in this game will definitely make others pale in comparison. I have been to Swtor, and beta of tera. Woefully imcompetent programming and customer service. Swtor is literally a joke, no macros, a useless ui, an auction house that is unusable, lag that only the finest computers can overcome. Very disappointing. No questions why EA stock tanked within the first couple months of release. Write a letter to Trion with Kudos. Finest launch of a new MMO I have EVER encountered.
Oh I'm not burnt out yet, just have a short attention span :p
I've been hopping around eve, ddo, lotro and FFIV while they have had a free play week going on. My post is more to the fact that those games have a development cycle of 6 months to a year where as with rift every-time you turn around something has changed. I'm a little worried that my bar has been set to high and I'll loose patience with future games, like GW2

Well I've puttered around on my WoW account a couple of months ago when my GM sent me one of those free timelimited return offers, and I swear I was bored withing the first 3 hours! lol And coming from me, the WoWmaniac Supreme, that's saying a lot. I love Rift, however it seems I'm doomed to never being able to raid even at the most casual level because my computer simply will not render a lot of things fast enough that I can see 'em before they kill me. Found that out in GSB with Rift 101. /cry I'm never going to complete that damned saga, unless the Deities of Gaming drop a new pc off at my house.
Sorry Bognar, I misunderstood you. Yes I am totally spoiled with new content by Trion. I came from LotRO where new content was usually every 5 months or so.. I don't think I could go back for that reason alone!
As if on cue, there are apparently hints at a bunch of new content on the PST.
