Tera Info

Gunghnir and I just bought Tera and we're downloading and installing the game tonight.  I know I saw somewhere that we have a few guildies that are currently playing this game, together I believe.   So if you wouldn't mind, will you please list the servers that you're on here so we can choose where to play? Thank you much!

well... all i can tell u is the game isint great.. the only great aspekt of it is :the elin, the bouncing"u know what" ,the fighting mechanic and that all females have some nice "armors" apart from that its a grind hell the weekend that i played tera was smooth and everything worked but it was very boring compared to guild wars2 it sucks

I played the free beta weekend for it myself. While it was an OK game, it felt more like the korean free to play game it is than a pay to play american MMO (to me) Lots and lots of grinding and I'm kinda burnt out on the grinding that it offers (unlike GW2 where it didn't feel like a grind in the last beta weekend event) It had a few interesting game mechanics but wasn't enough to win me over to buy it. Combat was alright.. but the questing... I couldn't even manage to make myself read the quests cause it was so generic and dull (IMO) It might be a good way to pass some time though if you can get past the grinding aspect.

yup see already two opinons wich are the same on the aspect of the game time to cancel ur order and save ur self some buggs

Thanks for your opinions guys, but we've already played through the beta and enjoyed it. We bought the game knowing that. We just wanted to join those people already playing : )

Well all good then :) looks like Xe said they are on Celestial Hills so there is one to play with :) Not sure who else is playing but I know I heard people talking about it in Vent (during GW2 beta weekend) so might want to check there as well.

I am playing Tera on Celestial Hills also. My main is Rayko, currently a 26 Lancer.

I am loving Tera as it involves skill and spatial awareness when doing instances. The mechanics are really fun and the targeting adds a whole new element of gameplay. I have a 56 Priest (Hex) on Serpentis Isle, PVE server. Pnub has a 56 Lancer tanky thing. Loving the game as it has the kind of pve I like (finally!). We have managed to level pretty fast considering we only are able to play aone day a week. Msg me in game if you end up on that server, but apparently Dragonfall is the main USA PVE server. I play Oceanic times so hence Serpentis Isle choice which is half Oceanic, half USA players.

Looks like most of the guild is in Celestial Hills so we'll be staying there which is too bad 'cause we'd love to add you to friend's list Mijjah

No worries - I am in a guild and am not a fan of RP servers, so all good :)

I've been playing on celestial hills occaisionally, awful lonely though. :(
