Incoming Karma item nerf!!

Hello, I have read on the official forums that the Karma jugs will NOT be able to get a boost to get more Karma. By mistake they added this on the patch of the 20th of the current month, also the page says that this change was rolledback and that it starts on September 3rd with the new big patch.

My big question is, should I get all the karma buffs I could get? How do I get karma buffs? Can we make an event for Karma Jug Chug Day? :3

There are 4 types of karma buffs plus the ascended infusion. THey are as follows:

Gem Store Boosters: 50% - Either the karma booster or the karma communal fire

Karma Guild Buff: 15%  - This is the buff that must be activated by an officer and is basically a buff for all guild members for 24hours. This is the one that you are only likely to get if an elder hosts a jug chug event.

Ice cream food: 5% - I believe an flavor of ice cream, which you can buy fairly cheap of the tp, will give you the full 5% buff.

Karma guild banners: 5% or 10% - These are the banners that are provided by guilds all over. The 5% is the basic karma banner while the 10% is the heroes banner that gives all banner buffs.

Each karma infusion gives 15% bonus karma.

So without the karma infusion you can get 80% bonus karma. When the change goes live again karma will be un-boostable but provide 50% more, so any jugs you currently have have the potential to gain 30% additional karma.

I think a jug chug would be awesome but it would need to be hosted by a family member with the power to queue the guild buff and champion banner. They would also have to think of a way to make it more interesting than just a bunch of GSCH members sitting there just clicking because that isn't really the GSCH event way.

From what I understand they are increasing the karma given by the karma items like the jugs though. I am not sure how much so it is hard to tell which will benefit you more.

I would love an event with some roleplay, maybe some raid or dungeon after the chugging party! I cannot post the event because I neither have banners nor the rank to do so. :B And I have the leadership skills of a potato. A wild potato.

I was thinking, since it's a very short event, why don't we add it at the end of one of the wvw afternoons? :3 A thursday maybe, so my partner can join us too! :D

Make a drinking game out of it! Everytime someone dies, you gatta drink... Everytime a veteran, champion or boss is killed, you gatta drink... Everytime someone auto-runs off a cliff, you gatta drink... You get the idea, heh heh  ;)
