I sense you are trying to start something here....I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you are refering to "time exclusive content" where as if you don't play it at the time, you never will get the chance.
I don't really care for these limited time events. It's been in almost every MMO I've played. Things like this destroyed the completionist in me. If I have to work or can't play for a week then I don't get the shiny new items/achievments, therefore I can't get everything no matter how hard I try. Of course this doesn't pertain to EVERY instance, Rift repeats it's events yearly for example. Tho I doubt these GW2 events will follow with that.
