I know we have a fair amount of members in the Boston, MA area and wanted to let you know that we are here if you need us. There are no words in the world that would sum up my disappointment in the human race right now but know that through strife we forge stronger bonds. We are with you and if you need anything please let me know.

There are no words to express my sorrow at what happened yesterday. My husband and I watched the news all evening in disbelief. Sadly this will change all our views on scheduled happenings such as marathons. My prayers go out to all in the Boston area.
It's hard to comprehend. I woke up this morning and said a prayer for all the victims that just yesterday morning were smiling and preparing for the Marathon...the ones that do wake up today are changed forever and for no reason except some person's hate.
It's also school vacation week here in Boston. In addition to all the marathoners that are drawn to the city this week, many families typically take advantage of all the resources that the city has to offer. I'll never understand how anyone can attempt to justify this type of action. IT's so very sad!
I have been watching these events closely, and I keep everyone in the Boston area in my thoughts and prayers. Whether you were there or not, this is a very unsettling time. I hope all of our family members are safe and know that we as a family stand behind you. Nobody deserves this kind of terror, these acts are not fair to any person. I hope justice is served, though I know nothing will fix the fear and pain that this caused. Stay strong and safe family.
Prayers absolutely go out to those affected...the sister of a friend of my family was a runner going by right when the first explosion went off ... fortunately she's ok.
No words can express what happened in Boston was not called for my thoughts and prayers go out to all those that were affected by this tragedy

I have the words, but they can't be used on our forums ... (I will clarify this by saying it was the act of -insert several expletives here- coward and it makes me -insert several more expletives here- sick ...
I not only pray for all the victims and victims' families but for the swift apprehension of the person(s) involved in committing this atrocity.

Absolutely unreal. It takes a very detached person to indiscriminately kill innocent people like that little boy who hugged his dad @ the finish line. That image of Mr. Rogers that gets posted around during tragedy really says it well about helpers. Whoever was trying to make a statement or cause terror ended up creating a situation in which the massive show of goodwill by all the people who rushed in to help others and show their support, created a much greater statement than the terrorist.
The tragedy in Boston is very sad so many in people hurt by someone/group has to take their problem and attack people who dont even know who did this let alone the attackers reason for this act. I wonder if there will ever be a time where everyone gets along and helps their follow man or woman, Oh yeah like in game too bad we couldn't transplant thoughts like that into people like those who bombed in boston and all over the world, And not to change the subject but the gun laws that the President was trying to change are stupid cause the only ones that will give up their guns are the people that obey the laws put in by the people, the bad guys, terrorist and gangbangers will have all their guns plus more while its the folks who should have them don't I for one will never give up my guns cause I know the only reason these hand guns were made was to kill people you dont take a 357 mag and go deer hunting. Anyway our prayers go out to the victims and their families for healing and strength thru this sad time...
