The "Thane" build made me start thinking about my days in DAoC, and the original Hygeliac, a beserker. While there is no Gerbil mode in ESO (thank god, but would Werewolf count?) there is the following very odd idea i had:
Class: Sorcerer
Race: Nord or Imperial
Weapon Prime: Dual Wield (axes by preference)
Armor: Heavy & Medium mixed
Primarilly concentrating in the Dark Magic line this gives you alot of CC ability, including the Ultimate that is an area dispell/silence. a couple of these sell include a heal or stamina boost as part of the CC. Additionally a couple of the Storm line abilities are used.
DW allows alot of fast hits that include stamina boosts, additional CC and the passive that gives 15% bonus damage for striking CCed enemies. It aslo incorporates agility and attack speed buffs.
It might also work with Sword and Shield.
This is a build that is alot about passives and how they "should" interact, and CC producing buffs for the attacker. The dark ability to trade Stam for health and magic, coupled with the DW AoE to generate stamina gives an interesting self management ability. I expect short fights for the most part, CCing target, hit with axe repeat. Longer fights should go through cycles magic, melee, magic melee until dead or victorious.
At best this could be a beast in general killing, at worst, a major irritation to the enemy in pvp.
