Templar DPS builds

okay ill kick it off any thoughts on a Templar DPS build? I would like to go Imperial 2h/bow and mostly Heavy because that fits in my head. Anything else is pretty much open slather (okay ESO may have dragged me into the realm of RPing just a little bit) :P

While I have mostly healed and tanked in previous MMO's I am sure we will have plenty of healers and tanks so I am looking at DPS as the primary role. with 3 weapon skills, 1 heal, and 1 for closer/CC/Buffs. This does push me  towards a Stamina based build but all the discussion about the loss of active Magika regen makes me a shy away from a magika based build at the moment. 

any general thought to guide my trials on the weekend?

I'm mostly doing AvA. So, my Templar, which I've dubbed "The Sweeper", is an AoE DPS built for group fights.

An Imperial using two-handed weapons, heavy armor and with stats: 29 Magicka/20 Health/00 Stamina. So it's not a stamina based build. But the build only cost 60 skill points.

It's premise is to quickly generate Ultimate points from using Carve (morphed from Cleave), and also from the passive Prism (generates ultimate by activating Dawn's Wrath abilities such as Solar Barrage and Blinding Flashes). This will allow me to spam the ultimate ability Crescent Sweep (morphed from Radial Sweep), a cheap ultimate (75 points) that deals AoE damage.

It's also has a bit of support from Solar Barrage (morphed from Solar Flare), an AoE which will increase our spell and weapon power on the enemies affected, and Blinding Flashes (morphed from Blinding Light), which will make enemies miss. Lastly, you can slot Breath of Life (Morphed from Rushed Ceremony) for some group healing. 

That sounds like it would go well with my Heavy Assault Sorceror build, Aethenbrior :)

Okay here is a 2H/Bow build for some discussion, I liked most of a build I found on Tamriel Foundry (Templer Murder Machine, @RickyBill) and have modified it a little

Looking at most of the points into Stamina to boost weapon damage and Stamina, regen items to hit Stamina soft caps then health then magic

Imperial with boosts to health and stamina pool plus a melee trickle self heal

Heavy armour based to add armour, spell resist, health regen and melee weapon power

Closer: Focused Charge Morphed to Toppling Charge - uses magika and has a stun

Heal: Rushed Ceremony Morphed  to Breath of Life - bigger heal for me plus 2 Allies to assist main healer if required (this is the main use of Magika on this bar)

Damage 1: Reverse Slash Morphed to Executioner - Stamina based finisher +18% damage to 2H attacks to <25% health enemies

Damage 2: Cleave morphed to Brawler - 7m Aoe Cone hit, dot, and shield

Buff: Momentum morphed to forward momentum increasing damage buff plus a snare removal

Ultimate: Flawless Dawnbreaker - Cheap Ultimate with a Cone AoE and + 13% to all weapon damage attacks when slotted

rotation : Toppling charge, Forward momentum, Brawler, couple of white, Brawler, executioner

change options I have

Radiant Aura in for forward Momentum this swaps a damage buff for a Health/Stamina regen buff for myself and allies

Healing Ritual morphed to Lingering Ritual swaps a biggish heal for 3 to a HoT for all inside 12, 2 sec cast I think pushes this to the ranged bar

Does Lingering ritual from multiple players stack?

uppercut-Dizzying swing in for brawler gives a stun+knockback+enemy damage reduction

Passives: all the 2H, Heavy armour, Imperial and Restoring Light

opener: Scatter Shot morphed to Magnum shot - Knockback, stun and self opener all in one

Heal: Healing Ritual morphed to Lingering Ritual, area HoT help keep the ranged nukers healed 

Damage 1: Poison arrow morphed to venom arrow, ranged poison damage, spell interupt and Dot what is not to love

Damage 2: Volley morphed to Arrow Barrage 7m AoE out to 33M

Damage 3: Sunfire morphed to Vampires Bane: Damage, Dot and Snare

Any thoughts or comments?

for leveling it will probably be Biting Jabs, Breathe of Life, Vampires Bane, Brawler, and Silver Shards to level up the 3 class, 2H and Fighters Guild  lines

Is any one with experience of a Templar past about level 12 able to comment on the build above for me?

I haven't seen a lot of the skills in action as I only got to about level 12, so any informed discussion will be useful for me
