Tuatha dé Marfach Caverns
(The People of Marfach Caverns)

A lad by the name of Lodeki stumbled into the Gaiscioch pub several weeks ago ranting about an awful curse that has been placed on the Marfach Caverns. An Albion Minstral placed a curse on the miners working in the caverns and their souls have been trapped. The only release for them is to be destroyed. In return the souls will give gifts of much delight to any who free them. The Gaiscioch extended family is invited to join the battle to find the cause of this awful curse and free the souls of the fallen.

This event will be held every Wednesday @ 6PM PST. Please bring your best blades, maces, and bows as we will be sending a lot of souls home. Be well.

For this weeks Youth Night we have decided to plan an expedition to explore the Coruscating Mines. This mine is normally for seasons 30 - 50 but we will be bringing all ages to this event to show the youth what this mine offers. If you are interested in joining this adventure meet in Ardee at 5PM by the Pacific Sun on Saturday March 7th. All extended family or potential invites to the family are welcome. This is a terrific time to meet your brothers and sisters while learning about the world we live in.

Sgeul Rúin dé Neivaennai Nanesk
(The story of the Neivaennai Nanesk)

As many other Sylvans, I fled the once peaceful island of Hybrasil because of the repeated Formorian attacks. When all the Sylvans lived peacefully in Hybrasil, I was a grove-tender. I cared for my assigned patch of groves and the many animals that lived within them. My groves were not far from the Grove of Domnann, where I was living a happy life with a happy family. But the peace was short lived.

One peaceful day, one regular day...the Formorians attacked. Many Sylvans were killed or fled Hybrasil at the first attack. The first day is when the portal was opened. Many of the Grove's High Mages used their strongest magic to open a portal. The portal came out in Connla, but just as it opened the Formorians killed all the Mages.Once the Formorians realized it was a portal, they guarded it. None of the Sylvans dared go near it. I was one of those Sylvans. I had never went too far from the Grove. I feared I would get lost.

Once most the Sylvans were killed or had fled, the Formorian left, but still hide in places near the Grove. After the attack, magic scrolls were invented and sold near the portal. Instead of taking you to Connla, if you had a scroll you would go to Druim Ligen. I chose to go to Druim Ligen.

Many of my friends and family members were slaughtered in the sudden attack. No Sylvan ever thought this would happen. No one was prepared for it. When I left the Grove through the portal, I swore upon my grave I would return and slay all the Formorian. I was just a young lass back then...I did not realize what all the Formorian together would do to a single Sylvan. But a promise is a promise, and that promise changed my life. I chose to become a Valewalker, and lay all the foul beasts' souls to rest.

I am still quite young and I fear I am nowhere near the experience that I could return to the Grove and finally prove my cause. I knew no revenge would be sweet enough to make up for the pain they had me. Though I still remained truthful...I still keep my promise. And from this day forward, I will train and hunt until it is my time to fight back. To fight back the Formorian that took everything I had but my soul itself, and left me to suffer. I must continue my training. Fare well to you.
