I just noticed this pop up on the site when I went to the Rift forums. They are giving away Storm Legion for free if you pre-pay for a year of Rift! You also get a mount and title!
Now to wait for payday to jump on this!!

Hrrmmmm... This is kinda tempting. I was planning on coming back to check out the expansion anyway. My subscription ran out so I cannot post questions on the official forums. Can you guys find out something for me? On Trion's site it says "Our special 12-month offer works like a game time card." Does that mean I can pick and choose what time I use for my account, like one month on, one month off etc...? Or is it so once I activate it, I can't deactivate and reactivate it later. This deal would be hard to pass up if I could pick and choose my months.

Sath, It works like a time card in it applies a full 12 months of time to your account, starting whenever your current sub runs out. So if you have a year sub, and buy this, at the end of your year sub this would take effect, and at the end of another year, you will be charged your yearly sub rate. If you buy time in bulk, you will keep that pricing, but instead of charging you for your next chunk of time, the clock will start on your 12 months from this deal.
