You never forget your first love, and in this case, it's DAoC. Slowly over the years, the game changed and we grew apart, but I never forgot our times in the old frontiers.  Ah, sending out our scout team to find some lost Hibs or Albs (yeah, we're those filthy Mids) and getting ready to Zerg.  Only to watch the death spam by our left axe shadowblades before we could even get there.  Anyway, I digress...

From their site:

Welcome to the Uthgard community!

Welcome to Uthgard! A Dark Age of Camelot experience like no other - taking you back to the glory days of one of the greatest MMORPG’s ever created!

A lot has changed since our humble beginnings in 2003 and we’ve come a long way as the first Dark Age of Camelot freeshard. With our diligence and maturity, Uthgard boasts a much more stable, authentic and exploit-free gaming experience than any other freeshard. Our staff are neutral, fair, and have put an incredible amount of time into building this great server. We promise you the most authentic experience that goes above and beyond any other server and a chance to go back in time during Dark Age of Camelot’s classic era.

The vision of Uthgard has changed over time but with our relaunch we are completely focused on an authentic 1.65 experience. We strive to deliver a wonderful classic setting and welcome you to our robust worldwide community that supports and looks after each other.

Whether your aim is to dominate enemies in the frontier, become a legendary crafter, or defeat dragons throughout the land, Uthgard has a place for you! So join us, rekindle the memories of old and let the adventures begin!

It's easy to get started, but since it just relaunched, queue times are rather long...like 2000 people ahead of you long.  It should get better as they raise the maximum amount of clients. Still, it's completely worth the wait.

Ah so this is where you are hiding these days when not on one of our D&D nights and your wife is not on the gaming PC. ;)

I never actually played DAoC, I ran into Gaiscioch in Warhammer. I had some really good guilds back in the day in EQ and EQ2, though don't ask me name of the guild or which server I was on at this point. I know some RL names of peeps though life has made us all go our own ways since that group broke up about a year before I found Gaiscioch.

I'm sure there are some who would love to hop back into it around here somewhere. ;)  We all have our games we still love to play or that we will gravitate back to for a miriad of reasons, mine is usually because my friends are there.

Go for 'G' rated. I dare you! =D Your words carry far more weight and power than you will ever know. Never expect people to take them the same way either.

Don't mess with the Mama Bear or her cubs (aka this family). =D

Wow, so many people in the starter zones. Like the game just launched back in whatever year it was (2001?). Just wow.

If you are on Hib, look us up. Ckemikal is running a mana ment named Ckemiwyn and I'm on a druid named Xewyn. We are around level 9 right now.
