LOL I know, right?
Hm, I guess I shoulda added quotes around that sentence, because it's a quote from the article... not my words. Think I'll edit that in, so peeps don't think I put the devs on blast, myself.
I wanted to like this game but after 4 attempts to try to play the basic controls feed like you need a college degree to even attack something.
Did you enjoy Ultima Online?

I'm enjoying it, but most won't unless they either (a) are still in love with the Ultima series and/or Ultima Online, or (b) played MMOs prior to 2001.
UI is clearly not getting love at the moment and I don't think they understand that today's audience (outside the niche who will be there regardless) won't put up with poor design anymore.
We'll see how it goes. If any of you decide you want to play, give me a shout; I have two PoTs and am pretty sure I can hand you a place to call home (though you'll need the deed to place and a house if you're going for more than a row or village lot). My IGN is "Phydra D'LaRose" and my PoT residence is nested off of Owl's Head - called "Ayrshire".It's manageable once someone has explained it. I'm probably going to be streaming from character creation forward after the next wipe because it seems no one really is and I think it would help those who do not have the history to understand this weird world of "thrown in the deep end, figure it out, and LIKE IT" (aka, how the first such games operated).

No.
I enjoyed Ultima Online.... mostly because thats how I met Slainidh
I was hoping this game would be good and that the family would be playing.
