WvW rankings predicted

Prepare your selves and gird your loins... it looks like next week we will be moving to rank 5 (+2) and Tier 2... up against our friends at Sea of Sorrows (SOS) who are moving to rank 4 (+2)

Wow. I haven't been on since Sunday evening so I was kind of wondering how the WvWvW matchups were looking...looks like a rehash of the matchup 2 weeks ago. I do worry that we're only moving up to the next bracket so fast because Tarnished and Eredon took a "bye" week for the Halloween event. I have a feeling next week when everyone's back in full swing, we're gonna get hit hard. Let's put up a good fight. Loins = girded.

I don't get to most of the evening fun of the family, but I have gotten out to WvW a bit more. Despite this week's disappointing low turn out by our opponents, I did have a good time one morning. It was low population time and I wanted to finish world map exploration without taking up a spot for WvW. Turns out on the Tarnished Coast map I got everything done except for two towers. One of these was Woodhaven where a pretty even match was growing into a large battle. I hopped into this enthusiastically having fun dying as much as I was killing. We finally won after more than half an hour of fighting. One death was me being totally impetuous and charging in the tower when the wall came down only to have them attack me while they were also repairing it so it went back up again. The oddest thing they did to me was build a flame ram facing the wall on top of my corpse. Though I did have two people dance on my corpse, as well. Once we had the map back, things got really slow again, so I went on to the next place and got 100% map completion done, but was happy I was up to some WvW and got it. I'm hoping it is a more even match and one where we aren't always in the lead, but staying close enough to mess with the lead like the week before.

It appears we will be re-matched with SOS again this upcoming week.
