Hey Everyone,

I'm going to be forming up a team of Trek Runners. If you want to be a part of it I will need people from all 3 main rooms and in anu and rall. The Schedule is of the following:

Monday 4-5PM Server: Main Room Treks

Wednesday 4-5PM Server: Rall & Anu Treks

We will start off doing Tier 1 Treks in each of the rooms. As we learn all the locations we will upgrade to Tier 2 and Tier 3. It's my hopes by doing this we can earn the rooms some guild merits and get people familiar with the locations. If players have unused alts that they can camp out at puzzle locations it would help a lot.

These events will be claimable for participation but will not reward anything in game.

it’s the memories and friendships that you cherish forever."

I'm confused about the description in today's Trek event (via the tooltip). It sounds like Treks are only for players, or characters, who have completed World 100%? Well, have all the zone waypoints, I guess.

I'm a little lost on understanding this, because I can't make logic out of why they'd design these guild events to require so much map completion from all participating guild members. Its one of the reasons I don't participate, because I've been given the understanding that I need to go get all the zone waypoints in the world, or else I put the guild missions at risk of failing.

Is that accurate?

You don't need map completion, you need knowledge of the map and the ability to travel to most zones.

My hope is that I can put together a Trekster team who put personal gain aside for the betterment of the family. If we can get the same crew every week these will begin to fly by. Especially as people start picking favorite locations out of the list that they are pro's at. I'm working on identifying every jumping puzzle so that I can mark them as such and then camp an unused alt at each of them thus speeding the process even more. This will be a great team building exercise and will help a few of us selfless folk be able to contribute to the success of our family.

Wow I was excited because I saw in the title Treksters and I thought it had something to do with Star Trek. I am announcing my disappointment. Anyways, carry-on.

I approve of the name Gaiscioch Trekies despite the fact it will upset many Star Trek fans.

Anyways Fog, I'd be more than happy to help out and contribute to running the Guild Treks when I can. The guide you have put together with the waypoint chat code links is very helpful if I'm leading a group since I can quickly link the nearest waypoint for my group to get to.

Do they require a cetain number of people to be present when a location is found and clicked on?

Because I was thinking that these seem very easy to do. All you would need is 20 people, each is assigned a number between 1 and 20. Then when you start the mission each person counts down the list to their number then they have the 20 mintues to find their location.

I've only done one level 1 when they first started so I'm not sure what restrictions they have, so this method may not work.

they require one person to activate, however some of them are at the end of jumping puzzles, guarded by veterans or in zones that can be painful to navigate solo(like orr and southsun cove). You have to be representing the guild that is doing that trek to claim the location.
