Me and GW2

I have to say so far I'm enjoying GW2. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the game. learning which race and what class i desire to play, which is why I haven't asked for an invite to the GW2 guild yet. but once I find my nitch I will. I have to say this is the first game were I can make full useage of my gaming mouse. I move with the keyboard and fire off attacks with the side buttons of my G600. which is really cool. I should have bought this game earlier. oh well least I have it now and on my powerful gaming rig.

Welcome to GW2 but why wait to find your nitch to ask for invite? The family would love to help aid you in finding it.

invite is account bound, not character bound.  So click that join button on the website you silly goose and join in the family mayhem.  ::grins::  We'll haul any character you have at the time along in some grand adventure or other.  =)

just one question, how long does it take for an invite? I registered my ArenaNet id to the guild webpage and it's been 3 days  now. I even whispered Fog today but he wasn't talkative. actually nobody that I spoke too was very talkative to me.

another way to get to that is to press the family tree icon.  Then you get a menu bar with membership in it, in the pull down there is a request invite to the guild.

I clear those invite every hour or two, if you haven't recieved an invite yet, something went wrong. Try pushing the request reinvite button on the front page. :)

Is there a way to confirm in this website that you are already inside the guild? I have the "An invite should arrive shortly." since I joined the family :B

A fancy "Got the invite to confirm" would be nice :3

Are you looking on the guild window at the bottom left in the game to see any pending guild invites?  That it is where it shows up in game.  I just checked and there are currently no pending invites because Izzy is true to her words.  She keeps invites up to date pretty good.  

It's also easier to pop on raidcall and see who is lurking around.  Izzy is on a lot and so am I though I randomly go afk a lot during the day.
