Whats the first thing everyones going to do when HoT comes out :)

i thought this would be a good discussion to see what everyone would be doing when HoT comes out next friday. i personally will be getting glideing and working on how to control it  in preparation to help with Rall's GH Lost Precipice which i hear would be a decent amount of glideing to get to all the mobs in time to even clear it ( info came from the bits of the livestream today) among going to any HoT guild events and helping out where ever i can with helping the guild and guildies out where i can :)  but im curious what everyone else is going to be doing :)

I would do things in this order.

- Be a Tempest.

- Be a Berserker.

- Be a Reaper.

- Do fun things with GSCH while laughing hysterically.

- RAID ENDLESSLY.

Solo a wyvern while livestreaming!

I'll be out on the WvW maps.

ill be figuring out if healing is viable enough to bother with druid and being super sad if it isnt D:

Patch the game :v

As much as I want to do HoT stuff, I think i'm going to roll a Rev and/or do Halloween.

1. create my revenant to get that birthday countdown started.  But don't level it right away.  (Maybe create two quickies first so I can unlock all three revenant blindfold skins.)

2. Get into HoT zones (might need to do some story steps to get there)

3. Unlock gliding

*phew, all set for Friday night guild event*  Other people don't need to unlock gliding before the event but since I'm leading I figured I'd bring out my mesmer and help port people along while everyone is still unlocking gliding.

After that, not sure which order.  

• configure the new targeting options.  I probably won't go full action, but I'm as excited as I can be for the ground targeting changes
• play the heck out of Halloween, which I've missed every year before this one
• unlock Chronomancer, Reaper, Scrapper, Druid, Herald
• start working on those Tyria mastieries, esp for the new legendary weapons
• WvW during guild events.  I'm super excited for the new borderland maps :)

One more thing I'm excited for is the new guild hall.  I don't know when Fog plans to kick it off but I want to help! :)

After that, I'm going to make my revenant to get her through at least the first of the boring levels.

Then I'll work on the Halloween stuff while it's still here.

Where do the Halloween activities fit into everyone's schedules?

I will make a rev, level him fast and then spend most of my time in halloween land till I get my bat/dragon wings then HoT stuff!

Oh I forgot the cloud of bats.   I'll do that too!  After all, it's not just an amazing skin, it's a piece of ASCENDED armor (wow!).

1. Create and insta level my Revenant and see if I can skip other lines and immediately grab the Herald skills and traits (need the perma swiftness for unlocking skill points and waypoints in the base game quickly.
2. Figure out how much of the world is needed for the Halloween stuff to get the bat wings, shackle gloves and cloud of bats.
3. Do the halloween stuff with either Rev (not much world movement needed) or Warrior (need to traverse the world a fair bit) to get start toward getting those items until the wife gets home form work.
4. Proceed to beginning chapter of the HoT story or keep working on Halloween with my wife which suits her fancy.

I'm gonna PvP and then PvP some more.

Make a Rev, start playing it. Then get distracted and do something, then try to refocus, get pulled into a gaiscioch event, HAVE FUN.

I'm currently in New Hampshire visiting family and won't be home until late Saturday evening do I'm going to miss launch. But when I do get home I will change my engie to a scrapper and create a rev. Meanwhile I'll be reading any posts the family makes so I can keep up with news as best I can. Have fun everyone!
