Greetings Everyone!

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Gaiscioch is going to make a statement this year by showing our support for those moms, grandmas, sisters, and daughters who have had to battle this nemesis. For the month of October the Gaiscioch will be changing their logo to Pink along with our game emblems going Pink as well. If you would like to show your support dye one or more items on your character pink. Lets show our support and honor our loved ones who have fought this foe.

I Dedicate My Attire This Month For My First Hero: Mom :)

She's battled Breast Cancer for the past couple years and so far is defeating this boss encounter.

Very Proud of you Mom :)

it’s the memories and friendships that you cherish forever."

Go Mom!  My sister-in-law has beaten breast cancer, too. :)

Also, this isn't an exclusively female disease, though it hits women far more than men. Men should do periodic self checks, and if they find a lump, get to a doctor right away to get it checked out. Early detection for anyone means a much better outcome! :)

Pink asura!

I know of people that have breast cancer, and it makes me so happy when they can beat it.

This is a great idea.  Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible to dye clothes in Final Fantasy XIV, but I will be thinking pink thoughts to show my support.

love this idea,  my best friend lost his mother to breast cancer 16 years ago and we have supported the Canadian breast cancer research and have been part of many fundraisers since then...

I will wear pink with pride - and a few tears.   My ex sister-n-law (who even 20 some years after my divorce was still one of my best friends) died at the end of last year from cancer.  It wasn't breast cancer, but what ever I can do to show support for survivors, fallen loved ones, and those still heroically battling, I will.  It is an honor to wear pink for all of them.

"I reach into souls and draw out their spirits... they still dance with me on the fields of battle. Don't let my ghosts haunt you." Morigana Ghostdancer

As someone who ran around in pink for more uhh artistic reasons, I feel vindicated at last.  I guess you won't be giggling at me in vent anymore Mijj when I run around in my pink armor or my pink skirt.  Ha ha!  Uhh I meant Hex, sorry I'm slow on name changes.

On a more serious note, this is a great idea.

I also have had family pass this past year due to cancer, as well as friends over the past years. I am in, however, my guardian looks a little too pink for a tall Norn guardian:).

Before the release of Guild Wars 2 in 2012, I had read this story in our local newspaper about Abriana Detty and her fight against cancer:

http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/154679075.html?id=154679075

Abriana passed away shortly after this story was printed.  When GW2 released in August 2012, I decided to dedicate one of my characters to honor her memory.
