Mobile Gaiscioch in Development

Hey Everyone,

Wanted to keep you apprised on something I've been working on in my free time. LOL get it Free Time :D bwahahaha! Fog told a funny. Over the course of the past few months I've been making modifications to our site to help it run smoother with a mobile interface. There are a few more places I need to fine tune like the whole leadership system... Again. That will help enable mobile devices to allow you to keep track of your objectives and victories. My hopes is that we can usher in the Tablet Generation and allow people to use their tablets as a sidekick while playing the games we love.

Eventually I actually plan on getting some sort of little Andriod/iOS app that will redirect people to the mobile site and provide notifications on your phone for events, site mail, and optionally forum updates. All in all this is quite a massive undertaking and I hope to have at least a working LITE version ready soon.

Login will be required to access this version but I will make it cookie/session enabled so it doesn't require you to login every 15 minutes. 

Below I will keep you updated with a few screenshots of what is in store.

As someone who logs into the website via my iPad 90% of the time, I just wanted to say I appreciate any efforts to help make the site more mobile device friendly. So a big thanks for any changes you've already made or plan to make. 

that is really a awesome idea im an android user btw ^^and a app for this guild would be really great just another idea how adding a instant Messaging Option aswell  so we cann all instant msg each other in case something is needed or an Event Pop up saying this this is gonna start in a bit just some ideas from me ^^

Once again, you are the man! I'm on my Android 99% of the time and what you have posted so far looks to make logging in a whole lot easier.

I for one can't wait. I'm always on my phone or tablet.

Actually when I first read the title, I thought about the Mobile Libraries from back when I was a child...  and then I thought what a great idea... "Fog is getting a small bus and decorating it with all things Gaiscioch and will drive around to all the cities for a meet and greet... how wonderful!!!" 

I will admit that thought was only a brief moment - a lot shorter moment than it took for me to type it out.  :)

Ohhhhh well - old age has been kind to me.  I have many memories that pop back into my head that used to mean very different things way back then than they do today.

I bet his mobile Gaiscioch would look more like a Ghostbusters station wagon. :D
