Substitute Commanding - Because There Is No Such Thing As A Cancelled WvW Event

Slowly at first, then with growing momentum, my Blue Tag started attracting Rallians and GSCH Warriors to me. We successfully re-claimed our Home BL and smashed the Invaders in a couple of really good small-group fights.
We then took the fight to their BL - Borlis Pass. Camps and Towers were easy (well, except for the NW tower - but we went back and took that one too...), but I still have not cracked the code on breaking into upgraded, waypointed, and massively sieged Keeps.
We broke thru outer, and had inner down to about 50% - and that's when the heavy Arrow Cart fire started taking its toll. We picked off some Defenders who pushed out, but we had our casualties too. Empty of Supply, we had to go. Taking this in stride, we regrouped and moved on to other objectives.
When I ended the Event, my bags were full and the Borderlands looked a nice shade of Blue - but my stomach was empty. I battled right thru lunch... Now that thia Recap is complete, it is time to eat. I raise my glass to everyone who joined me - well met and well fought!
